The other day I was asked how I first learnt algebra... And it's a question I am often asked. I'm also asked how I became very good at it.
So, here are my answers: I also paid for some private tuition, and I simply kept doing as many algebraic exercises as possible, that was in private classes and by myself. After I believed I was competent enough, I then started answering algebraic questions for students on forums and websites. What I've also been doing over the last few years is work on proofs. This entire project, which includes this forum, is based on maths proofs, and working on them has greatly increased and improved my algebraic skills. If you are interested in learning algebra or even mastering it, I would recommend taking a route similar to mine. This will help me make improvements to my websites and social media accounts. If you need help, I would recommend visiting a mathematics forum. I've used many mathematics forums over the last few years to get that bit of extra help when necessary.
